From deep in our cellar, our 2017 batch #10. ABV 12.5%
Beavis, this is the greatest beer of our lives. This edition of our beloved Juice Willis was hopped with gobs of Simcoe, Mosaic, and Falconers Flight. Expect notes of tropical fruit, pine, and citrus. Uhhhuhuhuh.
Tap Date 8/9 OG 1.060 IBU 50 ABV 6.5%
It means “No worries, for the rest of your days”. Brewed with malted barley and toasted rice, this is a savory, sessionable blonde inspired by the Mexican rice and almond milk drink. A generous amount of lactose was added to the boil to give the impression of creaminess, with just enough hops to balance. After fermentation, it was conditioned on vanilla beans and cinnamon bark, to impart the traditional horchata flavorings and overlay unique layers on the quenching base beer.
Tap Date 8/8 OG 1.047 IBU 15 ABV 4.8%
A well-rounded Russian Imperial Stout with notes of chocolate, dark fruit, smooth oak and bourbon notes from extended aging in barrels. ABV 12.7%
A hazy yellow Bavarian Hefeweizen brewed with a blend of German Wheat and Pilsner malts. A traditional German Weizen yeast fermentation produces a delicate balance of clove, bubblegum, vanilla, and banana nuances. Enjoy this refreshing summer ale now! Tap Date 8/5 O.G. 1.044 IBU 15 ABV 4.8%
Easy Mode is our exploration into single malt, single hopped brewing. This batch was brewed with Southern Select, a 2-row barley blend from Riverbend Malt House in Asheville, NC. We hopped this with loads of Wai-ti, a New Zealand varietal known for its lime peel, citrus, and stone fruit character. We brewed this particular batch to be lower in alcohol for extra drinkability in the Georgia heat. ABV 5.5%
Don’t let the color of this beer fool you, a Schwarzbier is a traditional German style lager designed to be deceptively drinkable. Ours is “Americanized” in the slightest with just a touch of extra roasty flavor, but this is every bit as crisp and quaffable as any lager or Kolsch. Tap Date 7/10 OG 1.055 IBU 32 ABV 5.9%
Take a trip back in time to when Pale Ales were Pale Ales. We brewed this beer with local barley and wheat from Epiphany Craft Malting in Durham, NC, and hopped with an appropriate amount of Huell Melon and El Dorado to allow the honey-like malt character to present itself. This beer was fermented with our house Kolsch yeast to give it a crisp, clean finish! Tap Date 7/24 OG 1.048 IBU 58 ABV 5%
Our take on an American classic style, Lil’ 5 Life is light & refreshing with a crisp body and dry finish. A beer that goes down smooth due to the generous addition of toasted rice & flaked corn, also a great session beer to enjoy in the pub! ABV 4.8%
An ale/lager hybrid that is between amber and brown in color, this beer is of the Northern German Altbier style. There is a nice amount of biscuit, toffee, and caramel in the malt aroma and flavor, noticeable at the forefront and fades to a dry finish: a nice lingering, but not strong bitterness. ABV 5.3%
